The Lord is awe-inspiring, fearsome, fascinating, intriguing, and majestic in his radiant splendor: breathtaking! Here is what I saw of him today and what came to my heart and mind in Proverbs 24:3-4,

and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures."
This is such a beautiful portrayal of the value of wisdom for those who pursue and obtain it. Who cannot relate to the beauty of a house that is built, established and filled with rare and beautiful treasures?
The house this speaks of is, of course, each of our own lives.
Some lives are well built and established with rare and beautiful treasures while others are simply bereft of these. When it comes to things like meaning, purpose, fulfillment and satisfaction in life, it is wisdom from the Lord that brings these.
Wisdom is such an important thing in each one of our lives!
